We're Having a Gently Used Book Drive

Hey All You White Eagle Wolves! Along with our Fall Book Fair, White Eagle LMC is hosting a Community Book Drive for @berniesbookbank and we need your help! Donate new or gently used children’s books starting Oct. 23rd - Oct. 31st. It's a great way to clear out those bookshelves to make room for new books from our book fair and share book love with families in our community.

WHAT TYPE OF BOOKS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept new and gently used children’s books for children from birth through sixth grade reading level. We love them all – fiction, non-fiction, chapter books, picture books and everything in between. We don’t distribute textbooks, dictionaries, activity books, coloring books, reference material or religious books. Please remember, only donate
books of good quality.

WHAT DOES BERNIE’S BOOK BANK DO WITH THE BOOKS?
Every child we serve receives 8 books per year! Once your generous donation is received at the Bernie’s Book Bank processing center, volunteers sticker, sort, and bag them for distribution to children who need them most.

HOW DO I TURN IN THE BOOKS I WANT TO DONATE?

Students can put the books in the collection bins that will be located in the LMC and/or in front of the school during arrival.
